1st driving lesson was just a great experience.heh.though the engine stalled like 4 times(twice on the main road),i think i did pretty ok :) n everytime i felt like i've embarassed myself,Mr Toh wld say: appluase! not bad for a 1st timer.hope he remains tt way for future lessons.it looks like he's patient enough to tolerate my blurness.i hope so.well,this is just the 1st lesson.was surprised tt he allowed me to drive on the main rd for the 1st lesson.i was undeterred though horns of impatient cars blared like nobody's business.haha.
on a more serious note,it seems like retrenchment is the most discussed topic at my workplace. oh so sad Yogi bear is retrenched today n he was mad cuz he wasnt informed b4hand.. if not, he wld have screwed the customers on his last day.. we will miss you Vic! speaking of which,we are all ready to be retrenched since there r a lot of temp staff alrdy n they wont b needing so many of us.so yeah...i wanna b 1st on the list!
then agn,i need cash.real fast.need to save for driving lessons n what not.argh!

bliss!
had a great time with Jas,Raj&Adil at Fig&Olive ydy.the brownie was damn nice..n dear Raj was nice enough to fork out $30 for the $48++ bill..so in the end,i only paid like 5 bux..tee hee :) the reason y he treated us was cuz he got a perm job as a prison warden n his starting pay is gonna b like 2500..so yar... thats y he's being so generous..looking for more!
yeay! 1st driving lesson is this tues.v excited.aft weeks of searching for a driver instructor, finally found one n he has a funny name..Toh Ban Bee...sounds like Bambi cartoon.his passing rate is 66.7% so he better be gd.heh.n my PT is finally decided its on the 25 Oct.hope no clashes
have to save a lot since gg SIM.i consider myself blessed since mak,abah n my big bro are supportive of my decision n they're lending me $ for the sch fees.i'm truly blessed.bersyukur pd yg maha esa.i'll promise i'll study smart.

is it here yet?
been checking the letterbox everyday :( still no letters yet.haiz.
anw,spent the whole day outside ydy.aft work,me,jas,hana,vic n meow-win went to pizza hut for lunch.we regretted.really.it was partly my fault cuz i suggested thin crust pizza.for 10 bucks,all i ate was 2 slices of thin crust pizza,1 miserable drumlet n some ocean platter.n i was still hungry. Us girls dont feel like gg home so scouted the office bldgs for cheap food.n we found this restaurant called olive-something where we'll be eating at aft we get our next pay.hopefully.
still,we dont feel like gg home so we took the shuttle bus to IKEA.n jasmin was kind enough to ask the muslim cashier whether all the food at the market hall is halal or not.n she said yes except for the pork meatballs.me n hana were puzzled cuz they place the pork meatballs side by side the chicken briyani.n there is no halal cert.huh? wads tt supposed to mean?n i saw a lot of muslims eating the chicken briyani n other swedish meals.gosh!so we left IKEA n went to Courts.
we happily sat at this sofa (tts on display) n chatted till abt 5.45pm.we had a lot of fun bitching abt ppl n larfing our heads off.n we didnt care tt ppl r looking at us like we r some mad women.
hah.so finally we ate at the Courts cafeteria.thank god there's the halal cert.n the food was just blah.but at least i was full.so then me n jas walk home n hana took a bus home...
n i started to worry agn...like i always do when i'm alone.

end of the cross road
so i have reached the end of the road.it led me to a dead end.i'm starting to think that i wont be getting letters of acceptance.how should i inform those kpo relatives who are forever asking me? should i just tell them:u know what, actually i didnt even get through.i must think that ure happy to hear that.but of course i cant do that.i would just tell them:hey, i'm still waiting for the bloody letters when deep inside,my heart is aching.i know i didnt get it.

yeah.I passed my FTT !I never thought i could pass it especially when i made a lot guesses. heh.yeah..now have to decide whether to take private or sch lessons.
According to Abah, dumbos like me who know nuts abt driving shld take sch lessons but they r overpriced.
And according to Nada, it was not easy for her to book the practical lesson dates that she wanted as the slots were usually full.
So,I was thinking of engaging a Private Instructor so that I could get more flexible hours to learn driving. However, I hesitated to do so when I heard some negative feedbacks on learning through Private. Below are the 2 common feedbacks:
Myth #1: You can’t get earlier test dates because the School will get them first.
Myth #2: School is easier to pass than Private.
hmmm.decisions decisions.it was easier to pass the theory tests as a private testee cuz it was plainly memorizing and regurgitating.but for pratical test,it may not be that easy.hmmm.
Anyway, went for the class dinner with the s310 peepz at Breeks@MarinaSq last night. It was enlightening to meet them.realised how much i miss them. thanks Pei yi for organising it. You did a great job!and ThAnks for those who came :) till we meet again,,hopefully during Miss Hartini's wedding at the end of this year.ya,she's getting married. so sweet... makes me realised how time really flies..
n i'm supposed to go for 4E3 class bbq tonight but i'm down with fever argh.Sorry Wan Wei (if u are reading this)i really wanted to go.... haiz...i guess i'll be deemed anti social agn. argh.
